Add Hidden Channels

Add channels that don't normally appear on your TV guide. This tutorial may differ on +HD and Q boxes.

Step One

Press SERVICES on your remote control.

Navigate to SYSTEM SETUP using the arrow buttons or by pressing 4 on your remote control.

Step Two

Navigate to ADD CHANNELS using the arrow buttons or by pressing 4 on your remote control.

Step Three

You should now be on a screen like this. To find the list of channels you want to add, click the button below. Find a channel you want to add and return here once you are done.

Step Four

Find the channel you want to add and note down the sections highlighted in red. They are essential.

Step Five

Input the following on your box.

Frequency (GHz): CITV uses a frequency of 10.758. Replace 11.778 with it.

Polarisation: CITV uses Vertical. Vertical will remain. If your channel uses Horizontal, swap the polarisation around.

Symbol Rate (Mbaud): CITV uses 22.0. Replace 27.5 with it.

FEC: CITV uses 5/6. Replace 2/3 with it.

Step Six

Navigate to FIND CHANNELS using the arrow buttons and press SELECT on your remote control.

A list of channels will appear. Use the arrow buttons to highlight your channel. Press YELLOW to save it (will indicate with a tick). Press GREEN to save changes.

Step Seven

Press BACK UP to get back to the SERVICES menu.

Navigate to OTHER CHANNELS using the arrow buttons or by pressing 0 on your remote control.

Find your added channel and press SELECT to view. You successfully added a channel.

Note: Your added channels DO NOT appear on your TV guide. Repeat this step to get back to them.
