Tucked away at the foot of the magnificent Warton Crag, you’ll find us—the Old School Brewery. We aren’t just a brewery; we are a family of beer lovers, music enthusiasts, and proud locals, all housed within an ancient stone barn that has as much character as the ales we brew.

We call the beautiful village of Warton our home. Located just outside Carnforth on the edge of the stunning Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), we are a hidden gem for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle. Whether you’ve just finished a muddy cycle ride, a long dog walk over the Crag, or you’ve travelled from afar to explore the Lancashire coast, our doors are always open.

Our Story

Founded with a simple passion for creating proper, hand-crafted beer, OSB started with a love for traditional skills and quality ingredients. We brew our signature OSB ales right here on-site—you can practically smell the hops as you walk through the door! From our cheeky Detention to the classic Headmaster, our beers are a nod to our playful name and a serious testament to our brewing craft.

But we know a good pint is best enjoyed with good company. That’s why we transformed our brewery into a full hospitality experience. We wanted a place where the fire is always roaring in the winter, the beer garden is buzzing in the summer, and the welcome is always warm.

• The OSB LiveAle & Music Festival: Our pride and joy! Once a year, we turn the volume up for our annual festival. Expect a weekend packed with incredible live bands, a massive selection of ales, and a festival atmosphere that brings the whole village together.

We don’t do "corporate visions" or stiff mission statements here. Our goal is simple: to serve you a cracking pint, feed you good food, and make sure you leave with a smile.
