We like to keep things simple and transparent. Start by giving us a quick description of your home (for example: “3 Bedroom, 2 Bath, plus a den”) and a list of the heavy items you’d like us to move. Pictures are always welcome—they help us plan the right crew and equipment.
If everything is organized, packed, and ready to roll, we’re happy to lock in a set price. Most of the time, though, we’ll provide an estimate based on the size of the crew and the expected time frame.
We also talk through a contingency rate upfront. This only comes into play if we arrive and find a surprise—like a garage stacked floor-to-ceiling with unpacked boxes or a massive LP record collection you “forgot” to mention. Otherwise, our goal is to honor the quote and hourly rate we agreed on.
“Old” is all relative—our kids think we’re ancient, the kid at Subway says we’re older than his dad, but truth is, we’re just in our late 30s and early 40s (young at heart, thank you very much). The name’s catchy, and hey, we had to come up with something to rival College Hunks.
Sometimes you might see a 50-year-old helping out, but no matter the age, everyone on our crew is an able-bodied, hard-working mover who knows how to get the job done right.

We’re steadily growing, and a larger box truck is on the horizon. In the meantime, most of our customers actually prefer securing a U-Haul or rental truck themselves—it often works out to be the most cost-effective option and gives them more control over the size and style of truck they want.
For smaller moves, we do have access to box trucks, but for larger homes (three bedrooms and up), renting a full-size truck keeps everything efficient, organized, and budget-friendly. Either way, we provide the muscle, the know-how, and all the supplies to make it a smooth move.
Yes, we’re a true owner-operator, family-run business. I work side by side with my lifelong best friend, while our wives run the packing side of the operation (and truth be told, they keep us far more organized than we ever could).
We started this company to stay active, do honest work, make supplemental income and offer something different from the mega-companies that pay their crew's minimum wage. Along the way, we’ve built a small team of regulars who enjoy the flexibility and the work itself. These range from small business owners, farmers, college students, in-between careers and needing a break, union workers just laid off because the project is done. Point is, we're all apart of the local community.
When needed, we’ll pull from a local labor pool of experienced movers to round out the crew.
