The Trellis Arch and our new notice board. The trellis arch and seat were funded by Royal Borough of Greenwich Community Project Fund 2016. The planting was sponsored by Parks, Estates and Open Spaces, Royal Borough of Greenwich and Thompsons Garden Centre Welling.
The hard landscaping is now complete with the paving slabs in front of the seat. These pictures show how much progress we've made.
Although we can't normally accept new burials we made an exception for this young child's hamster.
In 2018 Mudlark Nicola White discovered Bonzo’s collar tag on Greenwich Beach this led to a Just giving page to raise funds for a Memorial “Remembering War Time Pets” and the story of “Discovering Bonzo ”, monies to build the Tribute corner had already been raised through the Tesco Bags of Help Grant.
On the 10th August 2019 an Event was held to unveil these three Memorials, Clare Campbell author of “Bonzo’s War” unveiled “Remembering War Time Pets” Nicola White, Mudlark, unveiled “Discovering Bonzo” and Mick Mayor of Greenwich unveiled the Tribute Corner the event was well attended and enjoyed by all present
