Museums of course depend on director of art. Of course this is a bit different than working on a website or other media. A museum art director will either purchase art, or work in the capacity of directing shows, displays and other showing type situations.
How to Get One
Education is going to be key to be able to compete for these types of careers. A formal education in the field you would like to enter is the single best step you can take. Of course education is not the only thing that is going to open those doors for you. Working as an intern will also help you get the career you want.
Many people choose to work as interns while they are in school, so not only do they get a formal education but they also get some life experience as well.
