Group lessons are held 3-5 times a month.

How to participate in group lessons: Reservations are required to join the lesson. Please apply via the official LINE from 6 days prior to the lesson date you wish to participate in by 17:00 the day before.

Applications will not be accepted after 17:00 the day before. The circle will notify you by the day before whether your reservation has been accepted or not. 

Group lesson participation fee

• Naha City- run community center (NCC): 300 yen per person.

• A facility other than NCC: 300 to 1,000 yen per person depending on the facility usage fee and the number of participants.

• Participation fee for special lesson will be different above.

*There are no other costs besides the participation fee. (No registration fee, monthly fee, or honorarium)

Dress: Comfortable clothing for dance

Shoes: Tango shoes (ballroom dance shoes or similar are fine)

*Group lessons are generally limited to 8 of participants. This may vary depending on the level of the participants, the leader/follower ratio, and the size of the venue. Please note that if the number of applicants exceeds the capacity, you may not be able to reserve lesson even if you have applied. Priority for group lesson will be given to no experience and/or beginner, or who attend constantly even the basic lessons.

*Do not be late for group lessons. (The circle does not accept reservations from applicants who cannot make it to the start time. So, be careful not to be late for the start time unless there are unavoidable circumstances. If you are unable to participate after making a reservation, please be sure to contact the circle in advance.) 

*Lessons are conducted in a classroom setting with an instructor, and are different from free practice or self-study. Please do not sign up for lessons if you do not wish to receive instruction. Anyone who disrupts the lesson, such as continuing to chat instead of listening to the instructor's explanation, will be asked to leave.

*If public transportation is suspended or the venue is closed due to an approaching typhoon, a lesson will be canceled. In case of cancellation, the circle will notify on  Facebook. The circle will also contact who have already booked the lesson individually via our official LINE. In situations where public transportation is not suspended and venues are not closed (e.g., localized heavy rain, thunderstorms), a lesson will be held as usual, except in special circumstances. Please decide whether or not to attend on your own. If you need to cancel the lesson after booking, please be sure to contact the circle in advance.
