Welcome to Uechi-Ryu West

We are a traditional Okinawa-registered school with 2 Okinawa-certified master instructors. All black belt levels are certified by the Okinawa organization. Our Uechi Ryu School has been in our same location for over 50 years. We accept adults and teenage students aged approximately 15 years. We don't have children's classes. We are part of an association of West Coast Uechi Ryu schools and some eastern schools. Our school operates with low student fees and basically as a non-profit club.  Our classes are essentially the same as those in Okinawa.
