Welcome to the Human Resources Section
New and Related Services Division
The HR Section connects HR professionals from every level of CareerTech school operations, including but not limited to executive leaders, HR generalist, payroll specialists, and benefits staff. We provide resources, professional development, and networking so members can learn from peers facing the same challenges, share best practices, and stay current on the issues that affect their districts and technology centers.
HR professionals are often behind the scenes, but they keep schools running by hiring, paying, supporting, and
retaining the people who serve students. Our section exists to support them.
Purpose:
The object of this Council shall be to uphold the mission and goals of Human Resources professionals in the CareerTech system.
Mission:
To support the goals and challenges of Human Resources professionals in CareerTech education.
Goals:
Identify, connect and collaborate with Human Resources professionals and others responsible for HR functions within the CareerTech system.
Enhance the knowledge, skills and abilities of Human Resources professionals in CareerTech through professional development and networking.
Whether you are new to CareerTech HR or a long-time professional, we invite you to explore, engage, and contribute to our community.
