Dr. Om Jee Pandey is currently working as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electronics Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology BHU (IIT BHU), Varanasi, India. Before joining IIT BHU, he was working as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, SRM University AP, Andhra Pradesh, India. Prior to joining SRM University, he was working as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Canada under the guidance of Prof. Ha H. Nguyen. He also worked as a research fellow with Prof. Rajesh M. Hegde in Wireless Sensor Networks Lab (ACES-204) at IIT Kanpur during January 2019 to May 2019. He completed his Ph.D. degree in January, 2019 from Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK), India. He received his M.Tech. degree in Digital Communication from ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior, India, in 2013. He obtained his B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, India, in 2008.

His research interest lies in the signal processing for wireless networks with specific focus on robust sensor node localization and tracking over wireless ad-hoc networks. He also works on related areas like network lifetime maximization, energy harvesting, network robustness, low-latency and energy-balanced data transmission, time synchronization, data fusion, data aggregation, autonomous node fault detection, and distributed detection and estimation in wireless sensor networks. Additionally, he also works in the areas of Low-Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN), UAV-Assisted Edge and Fog Networks, Visible Light Communication (VLC), Cyber Physical Systems (CPS), Internet of Things (IoT), and Physical Layer Wireless Communication.
