Synopsis

The one-instruction set computer (OISC) or "whisk" is the ultimate reduced instruction set computer (RISC). In OISC, the instruction set consists of only one instruction, and then by composition, all other necessary instructions are synthesized. This is an approach completely opposite to that of a complex instruction set computer (CISC), which incorporates complex instructions as microprograms within the processor.

A good attempt to uncover rather esoteric topic, but could be more comprehensive.For a very specific and narrow topic, it is good already that such book even exists. But I expected more, more examples, more comparisons, more reductions of classic stack-based languages to OISC systems.
