UNSC - Security Council

The security council focuses on addressing threats to peace, including imposing sanctions, authorizing the use of force, and establishing peacekeeping missions 

This committee is responsible for addressing and preventing threats to global peace. This could include interstate conflicts, internal civil wars, terrorism, or violations of international law.  

DISEC - Disarmament and International Security

This committee is focused on promoting disarmament and international security, preventing the spread of weapons, and addressing international security challenges. 

As well as discussing matters of global security and working toward reducing tensions and preventing conflicts. 

UNHRC - Human Rights Council 

This committee is responsible for promoting and protecting human rights around the world by addressing human rights violations, promoting international cooperation, and ensuring that the rights of all people are protected, regardless of their nationality, ethnicity, or religion. 

UNICEF - Children's Fund

This committee is dedicated to protecting the rights and well-being of children around the world. 

As well as focusing on improving the lives of children, especially in low-income, conflict, and disaster-stricken regions. 

UNODC - Office of Drugs and Crime

This committee aims to address global issues relating to drugs, organized crime, corruption, and terrorism. 

As well as  developing strategies, and offering programs to help countries combat drug and criminal activity, aiming to achieve global peace and security. 

CSW - Commission on the Status of Women

This committee aims to promote gender equality and the empowerment of women. By focusing on addressing systemic discrimination, ensuring that women have equal access to education, healthcare, employment, political participation, and promoting their rights in all aspects of life.
