Ohyoon makes art that takes an honest view of the human condition -- fragility, conflict, and impermanence -- and its beauty. Often using unusual everyday material, such as pistachio shells, silica gel, and dirt, her art explores visual ways to illuminates stories and convey their raw emotional qualities. She mainly works in ink, acrylic, and oil. She aims to evoke emotional reflection and consolation in the viewers through her art. She also hopes that her art start conversations about emotional hardships and contribute to mental health awareness.
