What is the time commitment like on your team? 

Our team practices three times a week in the evenings, which allows for a flexible schedule. This helps our members balance their commitments, whether it’s managing schoolwork, working jobs, or participating in other extracurricular activities. We’ve found this schedule strikes a good balance, allowing team members to stay engaged and committed without feeling overwhelmed.

What leadership roles are available on the team? 

Our team is student-run, which means there are several key leadership roles available. Each year, our members elect a President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Vice Treasurer, all of whom play crucial roles in managing the team’s activities and ensuring smooth operations. Additionally, our coaches select team captains each season, who are responsible for leading practice sessions, motivating teammates, and representing the team both on and off the field. This structure provides opportunities for members to take on leadership roles and develop their skills outside of cheerleading.

Do you cheer at games? 

Our team is focused solely on competitive cheerleading and is not affiliated with the athletic department, so we do not cheer at traditional athletic events. Instead, we dedicate our time to training year-round for NCA College Nationals. In addition to our competition preparation, we also take part in various community events, such as parades and clinics, which helps us stay active and engaged throughout the year.
