The workshop will take place in the Kibbutz Nir David:

Lodging and Accommodation
- We will cover for accommodation in shared cabins for the accepted participants. We expect to be 3-4 per cabin depending on the number of participants. The cabins are large enough to accommodate up to 6.
- We may cover other local expenses (lunch and dinner) depending on funding availability.
- We should be able to accommodate for accompanying family, but we will not be able to pay for their expenses. Please contact us if you are planning to bring family with you.
Kosher work and food
Kosher work and food
- No scientific activities are planned during Shabbat.
- We will be happy to provide kosher food, please remember to mention if you would like to eat kosher in the comments section of the registration form.
Travel
Travel
- It is possible to reach the Kibbutz by public transportation. You should arrange autonomously for your travel on Thursday.
- On Sunday we will organize transportation to Ohalo.
About the Location
About the Location
Nir David is located next to the Gilboa mountain and natural mineral springs "sachne". The is a direct bus to Nir David from Afula. Lodging at Nir David includes a Kibbutz breakfast and free entry to sachne. Each mineral spring is larger than an olympic pool, and there are several of them filled with warm fresh water. Lodging at Kibbutz Nir David also guarantees reduced entry fee to some of the other local parks and attractions. Bring your swim suit and sunscreen!
