Short Biography

I was born in 1985, in Israel, and grew up in Ashdod. Between 2000 and 2003 I studied at IASA (Israel Arts and Science Academy) in Jerusalem, majored in science and music. I play the piano and the trumpet and was a member in the israeli scouts. During 2004 - 2007 I served in the israeli army (in the intelligence corps) as a non-com officer.

I have received my B.Sc. in Math in 2012 and my B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2012, 2013 and 2017, respectively, from Ben-Gurion University (the M.Sc. was under the supervision of Prof. Haim Permuter) . I was lucky to do my Ph.D under the supervision of Prof. Moshe Schwartz from the Electrical and Computer Engineering department and Prof. Tom Meyerovitch from the math department. I have received the Negev fellowship for honor students in Ph.D. program.

During 2017-2018 I held a postdoc position at the Research Laboratory of Electronics (RLE) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology hosted by Prof. Muriel Medard. Between 2018-2020 I held a postdoc position at the electrical engineering department in the University of Maryland at College Park, hosted by Prof. Alexander Barg.

Currently I am an assistant professor in the School of ECE at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
