Ohad Elishco
I am an assistant professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
I was a postdoctoral researcher in ECE at the University of Maryland, College Park hosted by Prof. Alexander Barg and before that I was a postdoctoral researcher
in RLE at MIT hosted by Prof. Muriel Médard.
I have received my B.Sc. in math and a B.Sc., M.Sc and Ph.D in Electrical-Engineering, all from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
My Ph.D. supervisors were Prof. Moshe Schwartz, and Dr. Tom Meyerovitch.
I am looking for excellent M.Sc. and Ph.D. students, as well as postdocs, to join my group.

My research focuses on the intersection of coding theory and dynamical system. Motr specific interests include:
Codins for constrained systems
Coding for distributed systems
Information theory in biology (DNA-based storage)
Stochastic processes
Symbolic dynamics
