Frequently Asked Questions
Is OGK free to use?
Yes β OGK is completely free. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no premium tiers. Every feature is available from the moment you install.
Do I need to create an account?
No account is required. OGK works entirely offline and stores all your data locally on your device. Just open the app and start.
Where is my data stored?
All your goals, plans, and history are stored exclusively on your iPhone using local storage. Nothing is ever sent to a server or third party.
This means your data does not sync across devices automatically. If you delete the app, your data will be removed along with it.
What happens to my data when a new day begins?
When you open OGK on a new day, your previous day's entry is automatically archived into History. If you had set a goal in the Plan tab for today, it will be pre-loaded into the Today screen so you can start right away.
Can I have more than one goal per day?
By design, OGK supports exactly one goal per day. This constraint is intentional β the entire philosophy of OGK is that clarity beats quantity. Committing to one thing fully is more powerful than spreading attention across many.
What does the Reset button (βΊ) do?
The reset button (top-right on the Today tab) clears the current day's entry and starts fresh. If your current entry has content, it will be saved to History before clearing. Use this if you need to start over mid-day.
How is the Streak calculated?
A streak counts consecutive days where you marked your goal as Completed (100% progress). If you had a goal but didn't complete it, the streak resets. Days with no entry will break a running streak.
Does OGK support dark mode?
Yes. OGK follows your iPhone's system appearance setting. If your device is set to Dark Mode, OGK will display in dark mode automatically.
The app isn't working as expected. What should I do?
First, try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, force-quit OGK (swipe up from the app switcher) and reopen it. Make sure you're running the latest version from the App Store.

Getting Started
1. Open the Today tab This is your home screen. It shows today's date, your single goal, and your progress at a glance.
2. Write your one goal In "Today's Focus", write the single most important thing to accomplish. Keep it specific β you should be able to tell exactly when it's done.
3. Fill in the Shortest Path Add your First Step (removes the blank-page barrier), Definition of Done (removes ambiguity), and Block Distractions plan (pre-commit to your environment).
4. Track your progress Use the progress slider to update how far along you are. When you're finished, tap "Complete" to mark the day as done and boost your streak.
5. Reflect at the end of the day Write a short note in "End of Day" β what you learned, what surprised you, or what to do next. This reflection compounds over time.
6. Plan tomorrow tonight Switch to the Plan tab and set tomorrow's goal, opening move, risk, and reward. When tomorrow arrives, your plan auto-loads β no morning friction.

Privacy Policy
Data Collection OGK does not collect any personal data. We do not ask for your name, email address, location, or any other identifying information.
Local Storage Only All data you enter β goals, plans, reflections, and history β is stored exclusively on your device using iOS local storage (UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device.
No Analytics or Tracking OGK does not use any analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or third-party monitoring tools. We have no visibility into how you use the app.
No Third-Party Sharing Because we collect no data, there is nothing to share with third parties. We do not sell, trade, or transfer any user information to outside parties.
Network Access OGK does not make any network requests in its native mode. All functionality works completely offline.
Deleting Your Data To remove all data stored by OGK, simply delete the app from your device. All associated data will be permanently removed by iOS.
Policy Updates This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page. Last updated: June 2026.
