Jill Bednar is a certified athletic trainer providing services to Welia Health (formerly FirstLight Health System).
Jill completed her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse in Athletic Training. Her education, and clinical and field experiences have given her the opportunity to work with various levels of athletics as well as diverse patient populations in clinical settings. She is an advocate for helping athletes reach their highest potential for improved fitness and physical function.
She is looking forward to working in rural setting, and helping expand the Welia Health Sports Medicine team.
Thomas Mullin, MD, is a board-certified family physician specializing in Sports Medicine experienced in concussion management, diagnosing and treating acute injuries related to the musculoskeletal system (ankles, elbows, feet, hips, knees, shoulders, and wrists), and chronic conditions including arthritis, bursitis, plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, and many more. He is also trained and experienced in diagnosing and treating injuries and complaints in athletes.
He has extensive training and experience in sports-related concussion and head injuries and uses ImPACT Testing in clinic when appropriate.
In his free time, Dr. Mullin enjoys being outside with his family, playing golf, riding motorcycles, hunting, and fishing.
At Welia Health (formerly FirstLight Health System), our Sports Medicine team is trained in providing specialized care available to athletes of all ages, sports and levels of competition and returning them to the game as quickly and as safely as possible. We know that sports injuries come in all shapes and sizes, and we are experts in the full range of chronic and acute problems related to living an active lifestyle. In collaboration with many other athletic organizations, leaders at Welia are coming together to STOP sports related injuries.
