FAQ

• WHAT AGES CAN CHEER WITH OGYC? 

Kindergarten through 6th grade (for the 2023-2024 school year)

• DOES MY CHEERLEADER GET TO KEEP THEIR POMS OR BAG?

No, the poms and bag are league property and must be turned in at the end of the season.

• CAN I DECORATE MY CHEERLEADER'S BAG?

Yes and no. You may hang ribbons, keychains, or anything removable from the bag for identification purposes but nothing permanent.

• WHAT ELSE DOES MY CHEERLEADER NEED FOR THE SEASON?

Every cheerleader will need white socks and white shoes not provided by the league. We also recommend black leggings/sweats, gloves, and ear warmers for the colder games. 

• WHEN WILL PRACTICES START? 

We don't have an exact date yet but it's expected to be early August. Games should start in early September.
