Mano was born to missionary parents, (Late) Dr. R.A.C. Paul an Dr. Iris Paul and was raised as missionary kid in the state of Odhisha, India. He came to the saving knowledge of his Jesus Christ on Sept 30, 1990 in a miraculous way, that changed his life forever.
In the secular sphere, he works as a Technical Fellow and Cybersecurity strategist, has in the past founded and run a cybersecurity company successfully, has published a couple of books in the security field and is an invited speaker in several hacker/security conferences. Prior to his contributions to the world of security, he was a shark researcher in the Bimini Islands, in the commonwealth of the Bahamas. Mano also co-founded and is the managing partner at CyberShaolin, a non-profit organization that aims to educate, equip and empower kids (and adults) with cybersecurity knowledge. Blending security and faith, he founded HackFormers, another non-profit with the mission to teach security, teach Christ and Teach Security in Christ.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) from the University of Oklahoma, USA, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Zoology from the University of Chennai, India. In 2020, he graduated from the Dallas Theological Seminary with a Master of Biblical and Theological Studies (MBTS).
He is married to Sangeetha Paul and he enjoys spending time with her and their two sons, Reuben and Ittai. For fun, he likes to do Shaolin Do Kung Fu (both he and Reuben are 3rd degree Blackbelts and Ittai is a Bluebelt), play ping-pong and video games with his children.
Author, Shark Biologist, Entrepreneur, Blackbelt and Hacker are few terms that have been used to describe Mano Paul, but he likes to be known as a sinner turned child of God, solely by grace. He desires to preach and teach the gospel of Jesus with integrity to the word of God. He aspires to be a faithful servant of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, with the goal to receive the highest accolade of all – the title of a “good and faithful servant.” when he meets his Creator.
