Speakers: Dr. C.S. Dutt, Bro. J.S.A. Julius, and Bro. Rajkumar Ramchandran 

Dr. Chetty Sevanand Dutt

Dr. C. S. Dutt accepted Jesus as his personal Savior and Lord at a college students’ camp conducted by the UESI at Rajahmundry, A. P., in 1968. He was baptized in 1969 by Bro. Bakht Singh during a youth camp at Hebron, Hyderabad. He was called for full-time ministry in 1970.

He started as a staff worker with the Union of Evangelical Students of India (UESI) in the ’70s and continued through the ‘80’s.  He worked as a pastor, missionary, and directed several leadership training programs. Along with pastoral ministry, he has been teaching, training & mentoring lay leaders and mobilizing the Church with a vision for world missions. His emphasis has been on family counseling.  

He worked as a Full-Time Staff Worker of UESI from 1973 to 1977 among several University Campuses across India and as an Associate Staff Worker of UESI from 1977 till 1983 as a Missionary to Rajasthan. 

He served as an Associate Director of Discipleship Center in Delhi from 1983-1986 and  Director of Church Leadership Training Program, United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 1986-1990.

He served as pastor of a Protestant Church in Oman (PCO), Oman. Before that, he was a Senior pastor of Open Bible Fellowship (OBF) in Mumbai, New Delhi, and UAE. He has been a Missionary Professor, teaching at Bible Colleges in Nepal. 

Dr. Dutt graduated with a B. A. in 1970 from Andhra University, M. Div. in 1973 from Union Biblical Seminary, Yavatmal, India. He earned his Ph. D. in Educational Studies in 1993 from the Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Deerfield, IL, USA. 

Dr. Dutt and Dr. Rukhsana have been married for over 40 years and they have four adult children - Hannah Roshni, Hephzibah Darshini, Deo Abhishek, and Esther Sheelini. They all live with their families in the US.

Bro. J.S.A. Julius

 

Bro. Julius was born in Nazareth, TN where his parents served as Pastors of a CSI Church. He had a personal encounter with Jesus Christ while pursuing his graduate studies in 1967. Since then, he committed himself to the Students’ Ministry through UESI. Immediately after his marriage to Renuka, they launched the student ministry at the Andhra University campus, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh in 1974. They also started several similar student ministries in different places in the northern part of Andhra Pradesh. 


Bro. Julius served as the first President of UESI-AP and later as the President of UESI-Karnataka. He also served for over eight years as the Chairman of the Board of UESI (National) and as the President of UESI.

 

He travels widely throughout the country to teach and train the students and the support groups called Graduates Fellowships, especially in North Indian States. He has also travelled to few other countries to speak in various conferences. 


Bro. Julius holds M.Sc., M.B.L., and B.T.S. degrees.  

 

He started as a Research Assistant in Madras Christian College and later at CSI Vocational Centre, Tumkur. He served in the Customs Department from September 1971 to July 2008 in various high profile responsibilities in diffrent parts of India and retired as Deputy Commissioner of the Customs Department in Bangalore.

 

He was decorated with the distinction of Best Officer Award for Introducing Computerization in Bangalore Airport in 1998.  He was recognized for orchestrating the closure of several unethical business in India during his 38 years of sincere service as an admired and highly respected Customs Officer of Govt of India. 


Julius & Renuka have trained and secured a degree in theology through TAFTEE and now tutor the degree level students. He also served on the Board of UIM, TAFTE, SGM & IEM and also in different committees of Methodist Church in Bangalore. He is also a resource person on the subjects related to Logistic Management and Organizational Behavior for a number of training Institutes and Business Schools, including the Academy of Customs & IGST.

 

Julius & Renuka are blessed with 3 children. All the three children are married and are currently involved in the Students’ Ministry along with their spouses in different parts of India. They are blessed with five grandchildren.  They have been involved in number of Marriage Seminars and as resource persons.  They have been involved in the marriages of number of believers across the world. They are proud spiritual parents of many children across the globe. They have written a book on Christian Home named “Value Based Home”

Bro. Rajkumar Ramchandran 

Bro. Rajkumar Ramchandran accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior on the 25th of May 1980 after a year of reading the Bible persistently all alone curiously and being challenged by the Living Word (John 14:6) and convicted by the Holy Spirit.

Rajkumar began to share the Gospel the very next day after accepting the Lord. He has since travelled  to more than 50 countries of the World and 28 states of India by the leading of the Lord. He is now known as an Evangelist, a Bible Teacher, and a Revival Preacher.  

Rajkumar had earlier been the President of the Board of Haggai Institute, India, for two 4-year terms and recently stepped down as Executive Director of Logos Ministries which he had founded in 1999 to ‘ assist Churches in the ministry of the Word of God ’.

Rajkumar is an Electronics & Telecommunications Engineer with over 20 years of experience working experience with Multinationals in India and abroad including a 16 year with Siemens, Germany.

Rajkumar is a member of the Methodist Church in India and has a ministry of preaching and teaching the Word of God among serveal Churches. In recognition of his service in the Lord’s Kingdom in 2011 he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Divinity by the Hindustan Bible Institute which is affiliated to the Asia Theological Association.

He currently lives in Delhi. His wife, Ragini, to whom he was married for 41 years went to be with the Lord on March 21, 2021. His  son, Akshay, daughter-in-law, Shruti and  grand-daughters, Mia and Lily, also live in Delhi where Akshay serves as a Pastor of the Redeemer Church.
