I am German and was born in Venezuela. I grew up bilingual and studied at the Humboldt School in Caracas. At the Metropolitana University of Caracas, I studied Business Administration and Management (including a 1-semester exchange at the Münster University of Applied Sciences in Germany), a degree that years later was officially recognized at the University of La Laguna (ULL) in Tenerife after two beautiful and intense trimesters.
My university life was exciting, especially because I was an active member of AIESEC (the world's largest student association), where I worked hard, gained international experience, made great friends, bridged the gap between university and business, and also met my future wife! Many say that AIESEC is the world's largest matchmaking agency, and I believe it because I know so many married couples who met during that exciting student stage.
I worked in the financial and technological sector in Venezuela until the opportunity to go international arose, and I moved to Vienna, Austria. There, I spent 7 years working for the American multinational technology company EDS (now Hewlett Packard). That was a wonderful experience since, in the business development area, I collaborated on major outsourcing projects involving countries like Switzerland, Germany, and Hungary, and attended seminars in the United States, England, Italy, Spain, Japan, etc.
Motivated by my wife, who has roots in La Palma, we decided to move in October 2002 to Tenerife, the island of "eternal spring." This was a very wise move in every aspect, and I am proud that our two children were born here. However, since you always have to keep evolving, I decided to do an MBA at the University of La Laguna, and in parallel, my first job opportunity on the island came up—and of course, I stayed!
In September 2011, I officiated my first wedding following a request from a wedding planning company in Tenerife. Since I am an open person and I like challenges, I said to myself: "Why not?" Since then, there have been many ceremonies, each one more special than the last, and most importantly, the couples and their guests are happy.
It has been a long and exciting journey that I wish to continue sharing with so many special people and couples I have met over recent years. For me, it is a joy and an honor to accompany couples both in the preparation and on that very important day, designing the ceremony according to their wishes.
I offer my services throughout the Canary Islands, mainland Spain, and worldwide.
