ROH world championship Jonatham grisham (C) VS Lee Moriarty
Just Ahead Of The Death Before Dishonor PPV, Jonathan Gresham & Lee Moriarty put on a Steller match up. Most of the match was physical, had some grappling & textbook maneuvers throughout the bout. Lee Moriarty would keep an even pace with The Octopus but eventually the final straw would come down with Gresham putting his signature class submission in on Moriarty for the victory.
Match rating 8.9/10
Dark Order Alex Reynolds & John Silver VS Kings Of The Black Throne Malachi Black & Brodie King
This Match Served as the opening bout for AEW Rampage & one that represented The Dark Order getting Retribution for their friend Hangman Adam Paige. The match started out slow with a series of shoulder tackles & grappling but later on picked up pace. Alex Reynolds would serve as the one pulling out all the stops for his team in the match. Brodie King Was the major key player because of his size & strength. Malachi Black ultimately help close in for the victory with the brutal roundhouse kick combination for the win.
match rating 5.6/10
Private Party VS The Lucha Bros
This match was the main event of rampage. For the lucha bros it was payback time after being unmasked by roush & Andrade El edalo. Throughout the beginning of the match Private Party Mark Quen & Isaiah Cassidy were dominating using thier in ring skill to try & wear down the Lucha Bros. With Isaiah Cassidy having the most control on Penta, Private Party seemed to have the match coming to a close but then Rey phoenix would come full speed ahead into the match up with explosive attacks on Private party. Lucha bros manager alex would get involved causing a momentary distraction. Roush then tried to help his team but Andrades plan would fail with Rey Phenoix winning off a death valley driver on mark quen.

G1 tournament pre-matches
The Pre-matches were on point for day one Of the G1. With this being the biggest NJPW show of the summer it’s important for NJPW to step up & they did just that with day 1. Most of the pre-matches were entertaining & kept attention & as always Kevin Kelley & Chris charlton did an amazing job with the commentary & really telling a story of what’s going inside & outside the ring.
It was awesome to see suzuki gun fully back together as a group against Bullet club & seeing Lance archer back in a New Japan Ring for the first time in 3 years & seeing him go to work on Bad Luck Fale. With archer back in the fold there has to be more matches with him.
Bullet club was victorious in night 1 of The G1 & Chaos also scored a major win as well.

Darby allin VS Brodie king
Brodie king wins by pinfall
Brodie king made this match almost seem as a squash against Darby because of his size & power in the ring. Darby at one point was surprisingly able to ground the big man but it wouldn’t be long until Brodie king regained his balance & won the match off a gotch bomb stuff pile driver.
Afterwards sting would confront Brodie only for the lights to go out & for Malachi black to get in the face of sting & blind him with the mist. Then The redeemer miro would appear out on the entrance ramp.
Match rating: 5.7/10
Best friends vs the blackpool combat club wheeler yuta & John Moxley
This match in my opinion was the best one next to the barb wire everywhere match. It had a lot of brutal striking tactics & a mix of take downs on the mat. Wheeler yuta brought everything he had in this bout but was scratching & clawing for a win.
Moxley appeared to be getting pissed off & fustrated on the ring apron while waiting for a tag in but Yuta was able to capitalize & get a tag to Moxley who came in guns blazing before being thrown to the outside. Yuta then got a pinning predicament on Trent Barretta for the victory.
Match rating: 7.6/10
Shane swerve Strickland & Keith Lee world championship celebration
The celebration for Shane Strickland & Keith Lee was wholesome with Kevin gates being in attendance. Keith Lee & Shane got on the microphone giving praise to the AEW crowd for their backing them in their title win. Keith Lee then put the AEW tag division on notice saying if anyone wants these titles step up & reach or step aside. They would later be interrupted by Tony Nese & smart mark sterling, who then got in the face of Kevin gates & demanded he sign the petition to get Shane off The AEW roster. Then was met with a right hand from Kevin gates and a cake to the face for good measure.
Main event: Eddie KINGSTON VS Chris Jericho barb wire everywhere match
This match included the Jericho appreciation society being suspended high above in a shark cage with Ruby soho as the key keeper of the cage.
The match started with Eddie KINGSTON getting an early jump on Jericho gouging him with the microphone wrapped in barb wire cutting him open. Jericho would then get tossed back & fourth against the barb wire ropes & then thrown off the apron through the barb wire tables & beaten down with a steel chair wrapped in barb wire. It looked like KINGSTON would have this match won until tai Konti got involved with Anna Jay coming out looking like she was the back up, only to join tai & get the controls to lower the shark cage with the Jericho appreciation society in it. The Jericho appreciation society would beat down on KINGSTON until the Calvary finally arrived. It wouldn’t be enough to help KINGSTON win though as he would he would fall to the numbers game because of Sammy Guevaras help that allowed Jericho to hit the Judas effect for the win.

Jay white would get help from Gedo who would throw a chair into the head of ishii causing Jay to get the opening he wanted to start the match with but with the power & size of ishii, trying to get a hold on ishii isn’t easy. Ishii would take Jay white down with a power slam & deliver 1 & 2s on him in the corner. Jay white would fire back with a Thunderous DDT.
