The Sigma Apps ("we," "us," or "our") built the Offline Voice to Text app (the "App") as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by us at no cost and is intended for use as is.

The primary feature of Offline Voice to Text is to transcribe speech to text. This process happens entirely offline, locally on your device.

Your spoken words remain strictly on your own device.
To function correctly, the App requires certain device permissions:
Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): We require access to your device's microphone to capture your speech for transcription. The audio stream is sent directly to the device's local speech recognition engine. It is not saved by us or transmitted over the internet.
Storage (WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): We require storage access if you choose to save your transcriptions as text files directly to your device. (Note: You can remove this bullet if your app does not save files to the device storage).
Because the core transcription operates entirely offline, we do not collect personal information like your name, address, or phone number.
However, to ensure the App runs smoothly and to fix any technical issues, we use Firebase (provided by Google) for analytics and crash reporting.
Firebase may automatically collect anonymous usage data, device information, and crash logs to help us improve the App's stability.
None of this data contains your voice recordings, transcriptions, or personal identity.

We value your trust in providing us with access to your device's microphone. Because the transcription data is processed and kept offline, the security of your text files relies entirely on your device's physical and digital security (such as your lock screen password and device encryption).
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Since our App processes all voice data locally, no children's data is transmitted to us.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
