Are you legally ordained to officiate weddings?
Yes! I am a legally ordained minister, registered and authorized with the state of West Virginia to officiate weddings and ceremonies.
What types of ceremonies do you officiate?
I officiate all types of ceremonies, including religious, non-religious, spiritual, and civil ceremonies.
Can we customize the ceremony to fit our preferences?
Absolutely! I work closely with couples to create a personalized ceremony that reflects your values, love story, and vision.
How long is the ceremony?
Most ceremonies last between 20-30 minutes, but I can adjust the length to fit your preferences.
Will you help us write our vows?
Yes, I can assist with crafting meaningful, personal vows or provide traditional, religious, or non-religious examples to inspire you. If you'd rather not write your own vows, I have traditional vows we can use as well.
Can we meet with you before booking?
Of course! If you'd prefer, I offer consultations to discuss your needs in person or via phone call or video chat to ensure we're a great fit.
What happens if we need to change our date after booking?
I understand sometimes things happen. I will do my best to accommodate changes, provided I am available for the new date and/or location.
What do you wear to the ceremony?
I dress professionally and appropriately for the style of your wedding. If you have a specific dress code or color theme, I am happy to coordinate. This will be something we go over during consultation or upon filling out the ceremony questionnaire.
Do you handle the marriage license?
You are responsible for obtaining the license within the county your ceremony will take place, but I will sign and file it after the ceremony.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, I am happy to travel! In fact, I enjoy it. Additional fees may apply for travel beyond a certain distance.
What are your fees?
My fees vary based on the type of ceremony, location, and services required. I provide a detailed quote prior to signing our contract.
