8MURATR is a one-man fan-translation of the fighting game 8MUra (八つの秘石裏) by maiga858 that is planning to be launched somewhere in Q1 of 2024.

8M2XTR is a one-man fan-translation of the fighting game 8M2X (八つの秘石２X) by maiga858 that launched on the 14th November 2022 (13 November 2022 in some regions).

Q: Is either of the games dubbed?

Uh, no. That required money, something I severely lacked for these projects.

Q: What was the main motivation behind these projects?

At first, me just testing my relatively wet behind the ears translation skills to a community that seems to be shrouded a lot in mystery due to a lack of willing translators - which then devolved into going to full way (with a few stops here and there) Once I got 2XTR finished, I was suggested to also get to Ura and I started from there.
