You will see a revised/updated ground plan to show the footprint, a scale mock-up of the "up stage front flat" as well as the door flat.

Flats (width x height)

• 3 10'x10' flats with windows (see drawing)
• 6 8'x10' flats for revolve walls OR 9 5'x10' flats for revolve walls (depending on 32' vs 30' revolve; see ground plan for bird's eye view)
• 1 3.5'x10' flat for DSR to close off view back stage (not drawn)
• 1 4.5'x10 flat with 36"x80" door (see drawing)

Please note - the last two flats may need to be adjust for real-world space between revolve flat and proscenium once build.

Dimensions

There may be some inaccuracies with the scale ground plans I received. I have three different versions, the original and a couple of reproductions. Using the exact same scale at the top of each version created a visually different physical footprint on the ground plan for a 32' revolve. Therefore, I am looking at either a 32' revolve or 30' revolve. I would like to go back into the theatre, do another round of laser measurements, and then I will create a set model once we receive our revised budget.

Other Set Notes

1. The centre flat with the window will have 60/70's style radiator below the window

2. Much of the inspiration for the colour scheme will come from Roger Sterling's office on Mad Men - rather plain with whites and greys.

3. The door will be plain - no window pane or other detail. Colour will be a muted red or muted blue.

Set Piece Requirements and Placement (for blocking and backstage preparation):

Scene 1 - Reporter: Deck DSC; Bar, Plant, Water jug/cooler

Scene 2 - Pitch: Bar SR; Couch DSC with armchair SR of Couch; coffee table

Scene 3 - Agent: Desk with office chair SR; a Couch SL, and a bar

Scene 4 - The Visit: Desk with office chair SR; Couch and chair with coffee table SL; Desk; Water jug

Scene 5 - Dismissal: Desk with chair SL; guest chair beside/in front of desk; bar behind desk; armchair facing a CRT TV on a table SL

Scene 6 - Analyst: Desk with office chair far SL; no bar (booze kept in drawer); Couch with armchair SR (cheating slightly towards CS).

Furniture notes notes:

Add floor lamp in the reporter

Add TV in the reporter

Add garbage can in the reporter

Add garbage can in the analyst

Maybe add side table in the agent?
