Ø𝖋𝖇1𝖙 (҂✘_꩜) is a multidisciplinary artist spanning electronic music composition, vocals, audiovisual production, writing, and digital art, creating/assembling what he calls "rogue potentiating machines" (music, videos, digital post-art). He world-builds with darkness, chance, bats, paradox, chaos, ugliness, sugar, excess, absurdity, trash, glitches & noise.
Entirely self-taught in electronic music, writing, and digital art, he also studied classical guitar for four years, trained in acting and singing, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts, with a focus on literature and philosophy—all of which serve as raw materials and tools for creation, filtered through an open, critical, and anti-dogmatic stance. His work involves electronic music, mixed-media post-art, and video creation, all rooted in the digital anti-mainstream underground. Once a live performer, his practice now exists 100% online.
His discography includes 11 albums, 1 EP, and 20 standalone singles, complemented by over 30 music videos released since his 2021 debut, "The Metamorphosis I." His most recent release is "the errorjector", a dark-style album that mixes glitch-industrial hardcore techno, glitchcore, and power noise. Since April 2025, he has expanded his practice to live-streaming on YouTube. His still images function as visual events and acts of anti-art or post-art, currently distributed across his website and social media.
His work embodies a dark, cathartic and fragmented world, one of rupture, reinvention, and strangeness. Born of chaos, guts, and excess, it’s driven by impersonal forces of life, personal necessity, intensity, paradox, imagination, and chance. Here, metanarratives like Truth, Reason, Reality, Being, Meaning, Identity and the Human are exposed as oppressive social constructs, revealing the current absurd, violent and depressive charade of well-established human-centered lifestyles, goals, values and norms. By rejecting these superficial norms, Ofb1t clears the ground for a deeper, more visceral form of beauty to emerge.
Here are some of his core aesthetic and philosophical views: the rejection of anthropocentric metanarratives breaking away from traditional metaphysics centered on unity, identity, and representation; the exploration of immanence, difference and multiplicity; the valorization of chaos, viscerality, intuition and excess as creative forces; the insistence on art as ontological self-making, very close to a Deleuzian-Nietzschean sense; among others.
Where language crumbles within the raw force of viscerality and the ineffable, Ofb1t explores themes such as the arbitrariness, absurdity and mystery of existence, angst, paradox, the non-human within, desire, immanence, multiplicity, madness, transformation, alienation, mortality, artificiality, technology and interconnectivity.
To make art is to engage in ontological self-making — we are not found but forged through music, images, noise, and gesture, our lives and minds constantly remade in the act of creation in an endless process of becoming. This process serves a vital constructive purpose: the architecting of a sovereign, arbitrary beauty from the very materials—trash, noise, and glitch—that the mainstream discards. In stark contrast to the sterile, regulatory hell of human-centric norms and superficial values, Ofb1t’s world-building seeks to generate new and potent sensations. It is an act of defiance that does not merely mirror existence, but actively reconstitutes it, redefining what it means to be human through a raw, uncompromising, and non-representational aesthetic.
His works often expose the messy, complex nature of existence, celebrating the mutual contamination of opposites and the fundamental instability of meaning. This critical engagement with social, psychological, and philosophical issues is delivered at times with a dark sense of melancholy and tragedy, at others with biting sarcasm and subversive irony—both framed in the Dionysian spirit, underscoring the immanent, complex, and perpetually unfinished nature of existence.
Free from fixed genres, Ofb1t continues to expand his multifaceted body of work, challenging and mocking the commercial and homogenizing standards of mainstream art and entertainment, while celebrating the underground music and artistic scenes having a sense of resistance and critical thought.
Rooted in a lo-fi/DIY punk ethos, he draws from the Avant-Gardes (Dada, Surrealism, etc.), conceptual art, glitch and goth art, dark fantasy, anime noir, mixed media, AI hallucinations, posthumanism, and poststructuralism. His sound mutates through darkwave, gothic rock, post-punk, noise, dark cinematic music, theatrical music, techno-electro, industrial, dark indie-pop, glitch, hardcore, trash, and beyond.
