Ofb1t is a mortal digital thing assembling rogue audiovisual machines 🕷️ World-building with ugliness, darkness, sugar, excess, trash, glitches & glorious noise. Indie multidisciplinary artist: electronic music composer, singer, producer, and digital visual creator, creating rogue online audiovisual events as multiple potentiating machines. Entirely self-taught in electronic music, writing, and digital art, he also studied classical guitar for four years, acting and singing, besides holding a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts, focusing on literature and philosophy, though it has proven to be useless given his anti-academic stance. His work spans electronic music, mixed-media post-art, and video creation rooted in the digital underground. Once a live performer, his work now lives 100% on the internet.
He has released more than 60 singles (some compiled on albums), 10 albums, 1 EP, and more than 30 music videos on YouTube since his debut single "The Metamorphosis I" in 2021. Live-streaming on YouTube since in April 2025. He has published just over 200 digital artworks to date framed as visual events / anti-art / post-art across the internet: website, social media, OpenSea.
His work embodies a dark, cathartic and fragmented world — one of rupture, reinvention and strangeness. Born of chaos, guts and excess, it’s driven by impersonal forces of life, intensity, imagination, and chance. Here, oppressive metanarratives like Truth, Reason, Reality, Being, Meaning, Identity and Human reveal their inherent futility.
Where language crumbles within the raw force of viscerality and the ineffable, Ofb1t explores themes such as the absurdity and mystery of existence, angst, the non-human within, desire, immanence, multiplicity, madness, transformation, alienation, mortality, technology and interconnectivity.
His creations often expose the messy and complex nature of existence in diverse levels and ways, the mutual contamination of opposites, and the fundamental instability in meaning and interpretation. They follow a hybrid and glitchy aesthetics of ugliness, and celebrate the cathartic potential of artistic expression, underscoring playfully and critically the complex, immanent and unfinished nature of existence.
Free from fixed genres and styles, Ofb1t continues to expand his multifaceted body of work, challenging and mocking the commercial and homogenizing standards of mainstream art and entertainment, while celebrating the underground music and artistic scenes. His creations often reflect a deep, critical engagement with social, psychological and philosophical issues.
Rooted in a lo-fi/DIY punk ethos, he draws from the Avant-Gardes (Dada, Surrealism, etc.), conceptual art, glitch and goth art, dark fantasy, anime noir, mixed media, AI hallucinations, posthumanism, and poststructuralism. His sound mutates through darkwave, gothic rock, post-punk, noise, cinematic dark ambient, techno-electro, industrial, dark indie-pop, glitch, hardcore, and more.
