OER 101: What are Open Educational Resources? Explore the basics to gain an understanding of OER and how they are beneficial to you and your classroom. Learn about their history, and view links to articles, books, and videos that speak about OER.
FINDING OER: Where do you find OER? Find a variety of resources on multiple subject matters, and locate reliable sites vetted by other teachers and professional organizations.
HOW TO CONTRIBUTE: Discover ways in which you can share your own ideas, lesson plans, and/or projects with other teachers.
CONCERNS: Learn about some of the challenges that face OER and what some organizations are doing to help educators navigate the OER front.
EXAMPLES OF OER LESSON PLANS: Find a set of lessons on multiple subjects that have been created by other teachers working with OER.
