In-person at the Odyssey auditorium
Virtually at the meeting link below
You’re invited to attend Trudy’s parent event, “Understanding Our Kids’ Social World: Friendships, Cliques & Power Plays.”
Enter a drawing to win a set of Trudy’s books! To enter, attend in-person, virtually for any amount of time, or email me at odysseyschool4all@gmail.com with one thing your kid heard from Trudy during their assembly. Drawing will be held on Oct. 12 at 5 p.m.
Earlier in the day, students will have the opportunity to spend time with Trudy Ludwig, an author of numerous children’s books including The Invisible Boy (The Invisible Boy shows how small acts of kindness can help children feel included and allow them to flourish.)
Separate student assemblies for each cluster will feature an age-appropriate author read-aloud, engaging activities, followed by an author-student Q&A.
The goal of Trudy’s presentation is to help children connect and engage with their peers in kind, caring, and inclusive ways. She has collaborated with leading experts and organizations including Sesame Workshop, International Bullying Prevention Association, Committee for Children, and ConnectSafely.org. For more information about Trudy and her work, visit trudyludwig.com.
Welcome to Odyssey's parent volunteer equity team.
