Hello and welcome!

I am a Sié Chéou-Kang Center and Oxfam America joint postdoctoral fellow at the Josef Korbel School of International Studies, University of Denver. I am an applied microeconomist and my research centers on issues at the juncture of impacts of natural resource extraction, energy transition, environmental sustainability, equity, and public health.

I completed my Ph.D. in Economics at the School of Economics and Finance, Massey University, New Zealand in 2022.  I received my Masters in Public Administration from Tsinghua University in China and my BA (Honors) in Economics and Business Administration from American University in Bulgaria. I am a Research Fellow of the Global Labor Organization, an Associate Fellow of the United Kingdom Higher Education Academy, and a Visiting Researcher at the Economic Research Institute in Mongolia.

Before starting my doctoral studies, I was a national consultant for various projects implemented by the Government of Mongolia and international development organizations such as the World Bank, United Nations Development Program, and United Nations Environment Program among others.  I worked in the working group to develop the Law on Development Policy and Planning and the Mongolia Sustainable Development Vision 2030, passed by the Parliament in 2016.
