Program Overview
The Theatre Department at Odessa High School offers a dynamic and diverse program that integrates Drama, Speech/Debate, Public Speaking, and Broadcasting initiatives. Students engage in a variety of performances, competitions, and projects that enhance their acting skills, public speaking abilities, and broadcasting techniques. Through this comprehensive approach, students develop a well-rounded understanding of the performing arts and communication, preparing them for a successful future in various creative fields.

About the Director
With a lifelong passion for the performing arts, Ms. Turner is so excited to begin her teaching career at Odessa High School. Ms. Turner is a recent graduate of the University of Central Missouri, where she obtained a B.S.E. in Secondary Education, focusing in Speech and Theatre Education. When she isn't at school, she spends her time performing, listening to music, or watching movies!
