Status: Built in paper
Basics: Currently, Chippy Alara Plains and Rebecca Guay Commander Swamps. I plan to eventually shift to Jenn Ravenna Tran Orzhov lands to match the AP Plains I have
Signed cards: Teysa Karlov (Olivia Gobert-Hicks)
Proxies and playtest cards: Sol Ring (ALK), Necropotence (ALK)
Altered cards: Orzhov Guildgate (TappyToeClaws)
What it's all about: This was the first deck that I built, but like Theseus' vessel this list bears little resemblance to the first incarnation. I was very into the idea of making an aristocrats deck when Elenda, the Dusk Rose was released, so I built around her. After learning that death triggers don't didn't play nicely with the command zone, I set the deck aside until Ravnica Allegiance came around and I fell instantly in love with Teysa Karlov. I have been making minor tweaks consistently ever since--and as of this writing, this deck has finally won a game!
Status: Built in paper
Basics: Tony Roberts Arena Islands and Tony Roberts Mirage Forests, which I may end up replacing with the Arena Forests
Signed cards: [fishy] Ponder (Ben Wheeler)
Proxies and playtest cards: Thrasios, Triton Hero (ALK), Force of Will (ALK), Kruphix, God of Horizons (Baerthe)
Altered cards: Kiora, Behemoth Beckoner (TappyToeClaws)
What it's all about: Sea monsters of all stripes are one of my favorite things and someday, who knows, I may have one deck for each type--but for now, there is just this. This one began as a Kiora, Behemoth Beckoner Oathbreaker deck. It had a very different game plan: merfolk lords + Arcane Adaptation/Xenograft + Stormtide Leviathan = swing in with a board of buffed unblockables. In the transition from sixty to a hundred, I mostly cut the merfolk in favor of the actual behemoths. The list is as it is currently built but I am still acquiring every Kiora flavor text card and they will all have a home.

Basics: Titus Lunter JumpStart Islands and Adam Paquette JumpStart Mountains
Proxies and playtest cards: Dockside Extortionist, Cyclonic Rift, Scalding Tarn, and Volcanic Island (all by Meghan Burden/Sheepwave)
Altered cards: Siren's Ruse and Captain Lannery Storm (Carlos, Ravnican Artist)
What it's all about: I wanted to make UR pingers for a while and when my boxing league pool for CMR gave me Malcolm, Breeches, and Lightning-Rig Crew all on week 1, I was instantly hooked and knew that my lovely pirate boys would have to lead my pinger deck. But since they only trigger off of Pirates, I have to assemble the pingers myself. The main gameplan is to load up as many pirates as I can with equipment and enchantments that let them tap for damage, and fire away from a distance, hoping that I can pull enough threats and answers from other people's decks to stay alive.

Basics: random, for the time being
Signed cards: Ayara, First of Locthwain (NissaCosplay), Harrow (Brian David-Marshall)
Proxies and playtest cards: Sol Ring (ALK), Bayou, Verdant Catacombs, and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx (Baerthe), Bitterblossom, Gaea's Cradle, Mana Crypt, Mana Confluence, Phyrexian Tower, Reliquary Tower, Cabal Coffers (Sheepwave), Omnath, Locus of Mana, Nyxbloom Ancient, Aetherflux Reservoir, Imp's Mischief, Yawgmoth's Will, Ancient Tomb, Overgrown Tomb
Altered cards: Eternal Witness, Sylvan Library, and Golgari Guildgate (all by TappyToeClaws)
What it's all about: The dream is to kill everyone with Weather the Storm. Everything else is variations on the theme: cobble together some loop to get enough mana, card draw, ETBs, death triggers, or storm count to let Dina get enough incidental triggers to mow everyone down.

Basics: Plan to replace the current mishmash with Christine Choi Ixalan Swamps and Lars Grant-West Eldraine Forests
What it's all about: I brewed this list when possibly participating in a budget EDH holiday swap and fell in love with it in the process so made it myself. It is the first deck I ever one a (1v1) Commander game with.
Status: Built in paper, slowly converting to German editions
Basics: (planned to be) Paul Scott Canavan Eldraine Swamps
What it's all about: Give me all the triggers by getting creatures in and out of the graveyard as much as possible. Haven't gotten to play it much (only a couple times 1v1 before a bunch of changes to the list), but I'm really excited about Bag of Holding...
Status: Mostly built in paper--gotta update this list so no link yet
Basics: Every UBR basic with a ship in the art
Signed cards: Admiral Beckett Brass (Ashlen Rose), Steal Enchantment (Stephen Green)
Proxies and playtest cards: Hostage Taker (ALK)
Altered cards: Izzet Guildgate (TappyToeClaws)
What it's all about: Pirates! What more do you need? Stealing stuff! You want more? Treasure! The original build had a sea monster subtheme, buuuut then that moved to its own deck and now it's all pirates all the time.

Basics: random
Proxies and playtest cards: Loyal Apprentice, Verge Rangers, Sol Ring. Arcane Signet, Boros Keyrune, Sword of Body and Mind, Impact Tremors, Aggravated Assault, Assemble the Legion, Flawless Maneuver, Hate Mirage, and Sacred Foundry (all by me); Combat Celebrant, Anointed Procession, Waves of Aggression, and Sunbaked Canyon (proxies)
What it's all about: Winota's ability looked really fun, but whiffing on your commander's activations is never fun, so why not make all the creatures hits? Every creature in the deck is a Human, but most of them create non-Human tokens or provide some other EtB utility. Once I can create a token or two, things really snowball. In the games I've played, it has indeed been pretty fun, but two things have been happening: I have still been whiffing more than I'd like, and it feels bad throwing all of my noncreature spells to the bottom of my library out of reach. I don't think I've played a single game where I've managed to draw the fun tools like Anointed Procession or Scroll Rack or the extra combat spells, but still doing all right without them. So I plan to make some edits to the list, taking out all of the token spells like Raise the Alarm, and adding more Humans with wrath or tutor effects or other fun things.

Proxies and playtest cards: Sun Titan, Tithe, Teferi's Protection, and Fumigate (proxies), Path to Exile (Baerthe)
What it's all about: Rune-Tail, Kitsune Ascendant was the card I got in my CommandFest DC Gold Rush envelope, so I decided to make a deck for it. I decided to use Patron of the Kitsune as the commander, but even without Rune-Tail in the command zone, I have been very lucky with getting him out in games I've played. This deck has every legal fox card and padded out with other life gain enablers and payoffs. So every (25/28) Fox in the game in monowhite and every card with a fox in the art in monowhite.

Basics: Sam Burley THB Nyx Swamps
What it's all about: Auras are bad card advantage and generally fragile. But Aphemia wants Enchantments in the graveyard...
That was the initial spark of an idea behind this list. I tried to get a wide variety of effects in Aura form--removal, protection, anthem, life loss, and making Zombies--and also go in on Zombie tribal.
Status: Built in paper
Basics: Christine Choi Ixalan Plains and Min Yum Ixalan Swamps
Signed cards: Elenda, the Dusk Rose AP (Chris Rahn)
Proxies and playtest cards: Elenda, the Dusk Rose (ALK)
What it's all about: My Teysa deck was originally built as an Elenda deck until I learned that Elenda's ability didn't trigger when going to the command zone. When the rules were updated so that it does work, I decided to build her a new deck. If Teysa is my tryhard deck, this one is a flavor-based labor of love. Every card is Ixalan-vampire-related. If it's not actually a "Creature - Vampire" from Ixalan or something that belongs to the Legion, then something Legion-related is depicted in the art (so no Pillar of Origins, for example). Every card, yes, even that one--read it again.
Status: Deck list not printing-specific yet
Basics: random
What it's all about: This was originally built as a Pauper EDH deck that never got played. So now it's a regular EDH deck. Played without sleeves.
Status: Mostly built in paper
Basics: Tony Roberts Mirage Forests in equal distributions
Proxies and playtest cards: Brass Squire (me)
What it's all about: This was made (but never played) with a group brewing lists with non-legendary creatures at the helm. I saw Meandering Towershell while looking for cards for the first list I was tinkering with for the challenge and fell in love. Went as janky as I could: turtle tribal voltron. The only creatures in the deck are Turtles, which is tough to come by in monogreen (and yes, obviously Brass Squire and Runic Armasaur are turtles, just look at them). And with a commander as weird as Towershell, I definitely want my gameplan to be taking people out with commander damage. So everything is built around pumping Towershell as much as possible when it comes back in to swing, and making sure it gets through by ensuring there are islands on the defending player's board. Other things in the list are to keep me and my few other creatures alive long enough for Towershell to strike,
Status: 5 cuts to make, not gonna be built for a while, but can play virtually
Basics: wheat fields and places horses would like to be, so a mixture of: Tom Wänerstrand Mirage (333) Plains, Scott Bailey Invasion (334) Plains and Seventh Edition (341) Plains, Pat Morrissey Fifth Edition (432) Plains, John Avon Unstable Plains, John Avon Invasion (331) Plains, John Avon Seventh Edition (344) Plains, John Avon M10 (231) Plains, He Jiancheng Portal Three Kingdoms (166, 167, 168) Plains, Donato Giancolo JumpStart (41) Plains, David Martin Onslaught (333) Plains, Charles Urbach M12 (233) Plains, Alayna Danner C19 (288) Plains, Alan Pollack Odyssey (331) Plains, John Avon Fifth Edition (433, 444) Mountains, Darrell Riche Lorwyn (297) Mountains, and I haven't explored Forests yet.
What it's all about: So during the video of Gavin Verhey cracking a box of TSR, I misheard "good in the haste deck" as "good in the haystack." A couple minutes after mentioning this mondegreen, I'd been given a few suggestions of what would go in haystack tribal, and now here we are. Every card is either a haste-enabler, depicts hay or wheat in some form, is a horse, or depicts a horse or rider. Can it win? Who knows, maybe I'll someday get a bunch of horsemanship creatures and unblockable-by-X horses on the field, along with Márton Stromgald and some other pump effects and stampede in???
Legendaries and Enchantments
Making Tentacles. Nadir Kraken was the THB card I was most excited for, and was overjoyed to pull it at my prerelease. The idea is to get it out, draw some cards, and flood the board with Tentacles and other spies.
100% Igor Kieryluk art. May end up going in a Varina shell.
Birds and alternate casting methods
Clerics and tokens
Every card in this deck will have a rough analogue in Android: Netrunner. The big goal is to have this be a large proxy project, using the Netrunner art in the Magic frame (or maybe vice versa, I'm still fleshing out the idea).
Disassembled to make other decks and because the Field of the Dead subtheme wasn't great. Someday I hope to tweak this list again and rebuild it.
My dinos list was originally built with the idea of trying to get out Blood Moon with Riftstone Portal in the graveyard. I didn't love it, so am working to pivot the list to more of a dino focus with a heavy Enrage theme.
