Below you can find the complete rules of the From Heart to Heart virtual charity race. The rules are available in Czech and English.
Registrace do závodu probíhá prostřednictvím registračního formuláře.
Systém ověří kombinaci startovního čísla, e-mailové adresy a zvolené disciplíny a umožní odeslání výsledku pouze tehdy, pokud má závodník v dané disciplíně potvrzenou účast.
O zamítnutí výsledku a důvodu zamítnutí bude závodník informován prostřednictvím e-mailu.

celé jméno a příjmení,
jméno a první písmeno příjmení,
Ceny do soutěže poskytuje sponzor akce, společnost Novanta.

FROM HEART TO HEART is a one-off virtual charity sports race in which participants take part individually, at a place and time of their choice within the specified race period.
The race is open in the following disciplines:
3 km Run,
5 km Run,
10 km Run,
Walking,
Inline Skating.
There are no age categories in the race.
A participant may register for more than one discipline. Each participation in a specific discipline is recorded separately. If a participant registers for more than one discipline, they use the same race number for all of their confirmed participations.
The entry fee proceeds will be used to produce heart-shaped comfort pillows that will be donated to women after breast cancer surgery at Olomouc University Hospital. The pillows will be made by employees of sheltered workshops. The entire amount collected will be used for the production of the pillows.
The race takes place from 1 October 2026 at 00:00 to 21 October 2026 at 23:59.
An activity counted towards the race must be completed within this period.
The date of the activity must be clearly verifiable from the submitted activity record.
A result from an activity completed outside the specified race period will not be accepted.
The result must be submitted no later than 21 October 2026 at 23:59.
Registration for the race is completed using the registration form.
Registration is open until 19 October 2026 at 23:59. No new registration may be submitted after this deadline.
When registering, the participant provides the required information and selects one discipline.
One registration represents participation in one discipline. A participant who wishes to take part in more than one discipline must submit a separate registration for each discipline.
Participation in the race is confirmed once the registration requirements and the applicable entry-fee payment conditions have been met.
Once the participant’s first participation has been confirmed, the participant is assigned a race number.
If a participant registers for more than one discipline, they use the same race number for all of their confirmed participations. Individual registrations for each discipline continue to be recorded separately.
The race number serves as the participant’s identifier within the race.
Only persons aged 18 or over may take part in the race.
Registration is binding. If a participant decides not to take part in the race, the entry fee paid is non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or where the organiser decides otherwise.
The entry fee is CZK 350 for one registration in one discipline.
When taking part in more than one discipline, the entry fee applies separately to each registration, unless the organiser communicates a different payment arrangement for a specific registration.
For registrations paid individually, the participant will receive payment instructions after submitting the registration, including a unique payment reference assigned to the specific registration.
Payment may be made by bank transfer. To make payment easier, the payment instructions may also include a QR code.
For registrations paid individually, we recommend paying the entry fee within 7 calendar days of submitting the registration. However, the payment must be credited to the organiser’s account no later than 21 October 2026 at 23:59. If the payment has not been credited by this deadline, the registration becomes invalid.
A registration paid individually is considered paid once the payment has been credited to the organiser’s account.
The participant may voluntarily send an amount higher than the stated entry fee. Paying a higher amount does not affect the conditions of participation or the race results.
For registrations covered by a bulk payment of the entry fee by a third party, different payment and confirmation arrangements may apply. The participant concerned will be informed separately about the applicable procedure.
The participant completes the chosen discipline individually within the specified race period.
The activity must correspond to the discipline for which the participant is registered.
The activity must be recorded using a sports app, sports watch, or another suitable device or system that makes it possible to provide evidence of the completed activity.
For the running disciplines, a treadmill or another indoor activity may also be used, provided that the submitted documentation makes it possible to clearly verify the required activity data.
The participant must retain the activity record for the purpose of providing evidence of the result and for any subsequent verification by the organiser.
The record must make it possible to clearly verify the data required to assess the result, in particular the date of the activity and the distance completed; for the running disciplines, the recorded time must also be verifiable.
The result must come from one continuous activity. Distance or time from multiple separate activities may not be combined.
For the running disciplines, the completed activity may be longer than the distance of the chosen discipline. In such a case, the total time of the entire documented activity is used as the result; the time achieved at the exact discipline distance is not determined separately or recalculated.
Providing evidence of the result is mandatory.
The result must be supported by a screenshot or other documentation of the activity record.
The evidence must contain the information required to clearly verify the result.
The organiser may ask the participant to provide additional information or documentation if the submitted evidence does not make it possible to clearly verify the result.
The organiser assesses whether the evidence of the result meets the conditions set out in these Rules.
A result that cannot be clearly verified from the submitted evidence may not be approved.
The result is submitted using the results submission form.
When submitting a result, the participant must provide, in particular:
race number,
the email address used for registration,
discipline,
date of the activity,
distance completed,
for the running disciplines, the recorded time,
evidence of the result in accordance with Article 6,
where applicable, a link to the activity record if voluntarily provided by the participant.
The participant selects the discipline for which they are submitting the result in the form. The system verifies the combination of the race number, email address and selected discipline and allows the result to be submitted only if the participant has confirmed participation in that discipline.
The identification details provided are used to verify that the result is linked to the correct participant and their confirmed participation in the relevant discipline.
Each result submission creates a new, separate record.
The participant may change their result by submitting a new result.
A newly submitted result has the status PENDING REVIEW until the organiser makes a decision.
Every submitted result is subject to review by the organiser.
The organiser may:
APPROVE the result, or
REJECT the result.
A result becomes the participant’s valid result only after it has been approved by the organiser.
If the participant already has a valid approved result and submits a new result, the previously approved result remains valid while the new result is being reviewed.
If the new result is approved, it becomes the new valid result and replaces the previous valid result.
If the new result is rejected, the previously approved valid result remains valid.
If the participant has no previously approved result and their result is rejected, they have no valid result.
A rejected result remains recorded in the internal results history.
After a result has been rejected, the participant may submit a new result provided that it is submitted within the deadline for submitting results.
The participant will be informed by email that the result has been rejected and will be given the reason for the rejection.
3 km Run
The documented distance must be at least 3 km.
5 km Run
The documented distance must be at least 5 km.
10 km Run
The documented distance must be at least 10 km.
Evaluation of the running disciplines
The participant’s result is the total time recorded for the documented and approved activity.
An activity is eligible for evaluation if it meets the minimum distance specified for the relevant discipline.
In each running discipline, the participant with the fastest valid time wins.
If two or more participants achieve the same result time, they are tied for the same place.
If two or more participants are tied for a prize-winning place, each of them is entitled to a prize.

Contact details and documentation submitted to verify a result will not be made public.
Only participants who explicitly confirmed during registration that they wish to compete for prizes and also confirmed that they have a delivery address in the Czech Republic to which a prize can be sent are eligible to win a prize.
Prizes will be awarded to eligible participants who finish in the first three places in each discipline.
If two or more participants are tied for the same place, each of them is entitled to a prize.
Placings are determined by the sporting result achieved in accordance with the rules of the relevant discipline.
The prizes are provided by the event sponsor, Novanta.
After the final results have been published, prize winners who are entitled to a prize will be contacted by email and asked to provide a delivery address in the Czech Republic.
The specific delivery address is not collected in the registration form and will be requested only from prize winners for whom it is necessary in order to send the prize. In the registration form, participants only confirm that they have a delivery address in the Czech Republic.
The cost of sending the prizes is covered by Novanta.
The race is organised as a charity event.
The entry fee proceeds will be used to produce heart-shaped comfort pillows that will be donated to women after breast cancer surgery at Olomouc University Hospital.
The pillows will be produced by participating sheltered workshops.
Information on how the proceeds were used will be published on the official race website after the project has ended.
Participants will not be issued with a donation receipt on the basis of payment of the entry fee unless the organiser expressly states otherwise.
The participant takes part in the race voluntarily and at their own risk.
The participant must adapt the activity to their health condition, physical abilities and current conditions.
The participant is responsible for choosing a safe location and manner in which to complete the activity and for complying with the laws and rules applicable at the place where the activity is completed.
The organiser is not liable for injuries or damage arising in connection with the participant’s individual completion of the activity, except where the organiser’s liability cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Participants’ personal data are processed for the purposes of registration, race administration, verification and evaluation of results, communication with participants and, in the case of prize winners, delivery of prizes.
Detailed information on the processing of personal data is provided in the document “Information on the Processing of Personal Data”, which is available on the official race website.
The participant’s race number, chosen public display name, discipline and, where provided, club or team will be published in the public start list and results list. The result achieved will additionally be published in the results list.
The organiser reserves the right to verify the truthfulness and accuracy of submitted results.
The organiser reserves the right not to recognise a result that does not comply with these Rules or that cannot be clearly verified.
The organiser may amend the Rules if a change is necessary for organisational, technical or legal reasons. Any change must not unreasonably disadvantage participants who have already registered and will be published in the same manner as these Rules.
The current version of the Rules is published on the Pravidla / Rules page of the official race website.
These Rules take effect on the date of their publication.
Date of publication of the Rules: 14 September 2026.
