Ochly Privacy Policy
Effective date: 1 October 2026
Ochly is a darts scoring and statistics app operated by Marshall Elite Ventures Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains how Ochly handles information when you use the app.
Information stored on your device
Ochly stores app information locally on your device so the app can work properly. This may include your match history, active matches, player profile, equipment information, preferences, quick-score settings, notification settings and other app settings.
Ochly does not currently require you to create an account, and this locally stored information is not automatically uploaded to an Ochly server.
You can delete locally stored Ochly data from within the app. Any backup or export files you previously created are separate files under your control and are not automatically deleted when you clear Ochly's local data.
Advertising
The free version of Ochly may display advertising, including advertising shown after a match.
Third-party advertising services used by Ochly may process limited technical information necessary to deliver, measure and protect advertising. Depending on the advertising provider, device settings, age group and applicable law, this may include device identifiers, advertising identifiers, approximate location, ad interaction information, device information and diagnostic information.
Ochly does not sell your personal information.
Children and younger users
Ochly is intended for both adults and younger darts players.
Where Ochly determines that a user should be treated as a child under applicable rules, the app will use age-appropriate advertising settings. We do not knowingly use personalised advertising for children. Advertising shown to children will be restricted to suitable advertising services and content in accordance with applicable Google Play requirements.
Ochly may use a neutral age screen to determine which privacy and advertising settings should apply. The age selection is used for these purposes and is not intended to create a public profile.
Sharing of information
Ochly does not provide a social network, public profile system or user-to-user messaging service.
Information may be processed by third-party service providers where necessary to provide functions such as advertising, app distribution, security, diagnostics or technical operation. These providers process information under their own privacy policies and applicable legal obligations.
We may also disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect users, our rights or the security of the app.
Data retention
Information stored locally by Ochly remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app's data or uninstall the app, subject to your device's own backup behaviour.
Information processed by third-party services is retained according to the policies and legal obligations of those service providers.
Your choices and rights
You can manage or delete Ochly's locally stored data using the controls provided within the app.
Depending on where you live, you may also have legal rights relating to personal information processed about you, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection.
If you have a privacy question or request, contact us using the email address below.
Security
We take reasonable steps to design Ochly in a way that limits unnecessary collection of personal information. However, no electronic system or method of data storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Ochly's features, advertising services, legal requirements or data practices change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
