Server Rules

Welcome to Orthodox Christian Gaming (OCG)!

To keep our server fun, family-friendly, and welcoming for everyone, please take a moment to read and follow the rules below. By joining the server, you agree to abide by these guidelines and help create a positive community for all players.

OCG Minecraft Rules

1. Respect Others

Treat others kindly. No bullying, harassment, or offensive language.

2. Keep Chat Clean

No profanity or inappropriate jokes. This is a family-friendly server.

3. No Cheating or Exploits

Mods, hacks, or exploits that give an unfair advantage (e.g., X-ray, fly hacks) are not allowed.

4. Play Fair

Do not grief, steal, or intentionally disrupt others’ builds, games, or experiences.

5. Follow Staff Instructions

Staff decisions are final. If you feel treated unfairly, calmly discuss it with staff.

6. Protect Your Account

You are responsible for your account. If someone breaks the rules using your account, you will be held accountable.

7. Respect the Server Environment

Do not make lag machines, avoid spamming too much.

8. Build Responsibly

Do not create inappropriate or offensive builds.

9. Be Honest

Don’t pretend to be staff or lie about rule-breaking.

10. Do not advertise other servers

Do not talk about or ask people to join other servers.

11. Do not share personal information

Four your own safety and for others, don't share personal information online.

12. Use Common Sense

If you’re unsure about something, ask staff first or use your best judgment.

OCG Discord Rules

1. Respect Others

3.  No Inappropriate Media

Do not text or post any memes, photos or videos that are nude, crass (gross, or inappropriate), gory (bloody, graphic), horror, inappropriate or suggestive. This also applies for usernames, profile pictures and custom status.

4. Follow Staff Instructions

Staff decisions are final. If you feel treated unfairly, calmly discuss it with staff.

5. Protect Your Account

You are responsible for your account. If someone breaks the rules using your account, you will be held accountable.

6. Be Honest

Don’t pretend to be staff or lie about rule-breaking.

7. No Self-Promotion

Avoid Promoting personal websites or servers in our Discord server without prior permission. Self-promotion can be disruptive to the community.

8. Do not share personal information

Four your own safety and for others, don't share personal information online.

9. No sending links in chat. 

(I don’t want to moderate content outside of discord)

10. Use Common Sense

If you’re unsure about something, ask staff first or use your best judgment.

What Happens If You Break the Rules?

• Breaking any of these rules will result in appropriate action, which may include warnings, temporary bans, or permanent removal from the server.

• All decisions made by staff are final, but if you feel there’s been a misunderstanding, reach out politely to discuss it.
