Sunho Park currently holds the position of Professor in Department of Ocean Engineering at Korea Maritime and Ocean University. His primary research interests encompass ocean engineering, with a specific focus on multi-physics problems, e.g., fluid-structure, fluid-ice, fluid-soil interactions, and renewable energy platforms. 

Sunho Park received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Inha University in 2000 and M.S. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Seoul National University in 2002. He worked at Hanjin Heavy Industries from 2002 to 2010 in the design and research of special and merchant ships. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Department of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering at Seoul National University in 2013. He joined the faculty of Department of Ocean Engineering at Korea Maritime and Ocean University since 2013. He currently served as the Dean for the College of Ocean Science andEengineering since 2023.
