Ocean and the Stars is a dream pop duo formed in 2023 by vocalist/musician/songwriter Scott McClure and vocalist/songwriter Kassi Gooch. Drawing inspiration from the dreamy melancholy of Slowdive, Electric Youth, and Chromatics, the lush sonic landscapes of M83, and the surreal moods of David Lynch’s Twin Peaks, with a soundtrack by Angelo Badalamenti and Julee Cruise, their music blends nostalgia and atmosphere into something both cinematic and deeply personal.

With waves of reverb, analog textures, and haunting melodies, Ocean and the Stars explores the space between heartbreak and wonder—inviting listeners into a world where love, memory, and longing shimmer in slow motion.
