Chiu Hsu-Lien is a photographic artist whose works focus on cultural memory and spatial perception. Her practice engages with the transformations of Taiwan’s Indigenous cultures and local landscapes, capturing overlooked traces of everyday life and social change. In recent years, she has turned toward conceptual photography, combining documentary and conceptual visual languages to explore the relationships of people and place, and the dialogue between memory and perception. Her images construct experiences that shift between reality and illusion, serving as a medium to reflect on local culture, social dynamics, and personal memory.
