As an experimental artist, Hou Chun-Chun has long been focusing on the visual research of accidental shapes and material transformations, whose works especially focus on the artistic practice of marine culture and salt crystallization.

Her unique "Salt Crystal Technique"using seawater as medium, and her works have been exhibited in over ten countries including Taiwan, Germany, France, the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, Australia, Japan, Thailand, South Korea, Mainland China, and Malaysia, receiving recognition through multiple international awards. In recent years, her creative work has deepened the integration of material experimentation and cultural memory. Through precise control of temperature, concentration, and time, she explores the transformation process of salt molecules from liquid to solid state, seeking infinite possibilities for artistic creation between the controllable and uncontrollable.
