I am excited that you are here and that we get to learn more about the ocean together. Every time I teach this class I learn more about how amazing and interconnected our planet is and I am looking forward to learning even more with you. I hope that you walk away from this class with a new understanding of just how beautiful, fragile, and important our ocean is and how you can personally help make our planet a better place.
At the end of the semester I ask my students to provide advice to my future students based on their own personal experience in my class. I have copied this exactly as they were given to me, so please read through and see what your peers recommend for your success!

Turn in your work early and take advantage of the feedback!
