Hello, Servant Leaders, and welcome to Leadership College. I am excited that you are here and that you have made the decision to grow in your faith, strengthen your leadership, and take your next step with purpose. Leadership College is important because leadership is not just about a title or position; it is about influence, service, growth, and impact. God has placed gifts, purpose, and responsibility inside each of us, and this is a place where those gifts can be developed, your faith can be strengthened, and your leadership can be sharpened so you can serve with confidence and excellence. This is more than a class; it is a place of preparation, growth, and transformation. Global Leadership College was created for servant leaders who live more than 50 miles away from the One Community Church Plano Campus but still want to grow, learn, and be equipped for leadership. Through the global experience, you can stay connected, receive practical teaching, grow spiritually, and take your next step in leadership from wherever you are. Each step is designed to guide you, equip you, and help you take action with confidence and purpose. As you go through this process, remember that growth happens one step at a time, and every step you take prepares you to lead, serve, and impact others with excellence. One Community Church Leadership College is a developmental pathway designed to equip, inspire and reproduce servant leaders. During this nine-month program, you will grow personally, professionally and spiritually. You will develop a deeper understanding of who you are in the leader, while gaining an understanding of church leadership. Throughout the program, you will be challenged to seek the Lord in refining your growth and understanding of your spiritual gifts and how you can use them for the glory of God. This is not a theological seminary, but a foundational course in biblical principles and OCC’s values, that will equip the future leaders of One Community Church. 

What is required:

• Program participants must be a member of One Community Church (OCC).

• Program participants must actively serve in ministry here at OCC. ( If you are not serving you have the opportunity to serve on the LC team)

• Program participants will attend classes and events with active participation designed to develop them as leaders.

• All participants will adhere to the OCC Leadership College Honor Code.

• All participants will dedicate themselves to completing all reading and assessments designed to develop them as a leader.
