We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information or data about you or your device. The App operates entirely locally on your device with no backend server communication.
This means:
We do not collect names, emails, IP addresses, identifiers, or other personal data.
We do not use analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking tools, or third-party services.
We do not send any data to any server or third parties.
This App is NOT a data-processing service or platform — all processing is done directly on the user’s device.
Your files, encrypted data, settings, thumbnails, and metadata are stored locally on your device. We do not access, copy, or transmit any of your content.
You are responsible for keeping your device secure. If your device is lost, damaged, or compromised, Obscura Vault does not have access to recover your data.
To function correctly, Obscura Vault may request certain permissions from your device, including but not limited to:
Access to storage / media to read encrypted files and import/export content,
Biometric access (optional) for authentication,
Camera or file system access as needed.
These permissions are local to the App and are not used to collect personal information.
We use industry-standard encryption (AES-GCM-256) and secure storage methods to protect your files. However, we cannot guarantee absolute security — you acknowledge that encrypted file loss due to device failure, deletion, misconfiguration, or unauthorized access is your responsibility.
Our App is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not serve minors or knowingly collect information from minors.
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated policy will have a new “Effective Date.” Your continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of those updates.
