Founded by Joseph Gablah and Elizabeth Afia Boadiwaa as the co-founder, Joseph Gablah a young visionary from the streets of Ashaiman, Ghana, Ɔbra was born from real life.... the struggles, the hustle, the dreams, and the wins that come with growing up in a tough environment.
“Ɔbra” means LIFE in Akan, and every design tells a part of that journey, from pain to progress, from hardship to hope. As someone who’s lived it, I created this brand not just to sell clothes, but to represent stories people can relate to.
Growing up with creativity in my blood, from cutting hair to painting and designing. I knew I had a bigger purpose. Ɔbra is my way of showing the world that life may be tough, but we are tougher.
Every stitch, every design, every message is for the youth who hustle, the dreamers who struggle, and the people who rise.
