Dues are what it costs to run a clan, every 30 seconds the game charges us a small amount of gold for having our clan.
Dues are not mandatory, but are encouraged as a way to help our clan keep running. Both gold or credits can be donated, and by donating in increments of 10 credits, the clan gets quite a bit more gold by donating in this method.
