Beyond research, I enjoy teaching and pedagogy, striving to promote an interactive and supportive learning environment, with a particular passion for making technical quantitative content accessible to students. I have taught at the undergraduate, master's, and PhD levels. At Columbia Business School, I was to my knowledge the first PhD student to develop and teach their own credit-bearing course. At UBC Sauder, I teach a course based on the case method.
I have taken extensive training on evidence-based pedagogy and inclusive teaching practices through Columbia University's Center for Teaching and Learning. I was the first Lead Teaching Fellow from the business school in 2020-2021 and became the first business school student to complete the Advanced track of the Teaching Development Program certification in 2023.
