United Youth International Model United Nations (UYIMUN) Conference 1.0 (Rampur, India 2022)
Invited by the United Youth International Model United Nations (UYIMUN) to be the official host for the maiden edition of the United Youth International Model United Nations Conference in January 2022. I managed and coordinated the MUN conference, by ensuring smooth execution of the conference agenda, proper introduction of Keynote speakers, Secretariat members, and Board of Directors of the different United Nations councils featured for the conference. Furthermore, prior to the conference, I spearheaded several info sessions for Delegates and the Board of Directors on organizations' social media pages to help answer any hanging questions from delegates on the mode of conduct and expectations for the conference. The conference was a huge success and I received recognition awards for my role during the conference.
International Model United Nations (IMUN) Conference (India, 2021)
Selected among 10,000 applicants globally as one of the 1,000 delegates who made it to the IMUN 63.0 Conference. During the 2-day conference, I served as the Delegate of the Republic of Fiji Islands under the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Council to address one of the contemporary topics in the Educational sector; Ensuring Quality Education & Increasing accessibility to e-learning for children. Given the growing advancements in technology and the widespread use of mobile devices, there have been significant efforts made to ensure quality education for all, particularly in the underserved populations.
Digital Health Innovation and Artificial Intelligence in Africa Workshop by WHO AFRO (Republic of Congo, 2021).
Invited by the World Health Organization (WHO) - Regional Office for Africa (WHO AFRO) in collaboration with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) to participate in a digital health conference to discuss the Role of Artificial Intelligence (A.I), Data Transformation, and Data Revolution in healthcare, particularly in the African context. The workshop brought together Ministers, Commissioners of Health, Government personnel, and Public Health Policymakers from all across Africa and beyond to discuss the way forward on how to improve the adoption and implementation of digital solutions across African health systems.
Asia Youth International Model United Nations (AYIMUN) Conference (Jakarta, Indonesia 2021)
Selected among 27,000 applicants globally as one of the 904 delegates who made it to the AYIMUN, 2021 Conference. During the 4-day conference, I served as the Delegate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria under the World Health Organization (WHO) Council to address one of the contemporary public health threats; Mitigating the Impact of Air Pollution on Public Health. I wrote a position paper on this topic addressing the effects of Air Pollution on public health in general and its impacts in Nigeria, I also highlighted the impacts of the United Nations in collaboration with the Nigerian Government to proffer solutions to these issues.
3rd International Conference on e-Health and Alternative Healthcare Innovations (Prague, Czech Republic 2020).
Invited as a Speaker to present my research on Assessing the Level of eHealth in Africa using Nigeria as a Model: Barriers and Innovations. My research addressed the existing applications of digital solutions in healthcare and the challenges that impact the widespread implementation and adoption of digital solutions in the African health system using Nigeria as a case study.
