Andrew McKibbin

Andrews' family has been in the area for nearly 150 year. He lives at Gilmandyke on the family property producing prime lamb and raising Angus cattle. He attended Burraga Public School,was the Founder & Secretary Gilmandyke Landcare and a member of the Ben Chifley Catchment Management Group. He has run the family property for over 30 years. He is a major stakeholder in a regional supermarket group that sources their beef from in Oberon.

He has been the Commercial Director of several large companies including Thales which operates, as part of its business, the Lithgow Arms factory. Andrew has dealt with large businesses involving legal, financial and engineering issues and believes his expertise and business acumen can assist this Council to be more efficient and accountable to ratepayers.
