Who I Am

I’m Obed Joshua, a Registered Dental Technologist and Certified Medical Virtual Assistant with a passion for improving patient care through precision, empathy, and innovation. I bring hands-on experience in prosthetic fabrication, crowns and bridge construction, and dental laboratory management, complemented by strong digital and organizational skills that support modern healthcare operations.

I hold a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Dental Technology from Shehu Idris College of Health Sciences and Technology, Makarfi, graduating with Upper Credit and inducted by the Dental Technologists Registration Board of Nigeria (DTRBN) in 2023. My academic training gave me a deep understanding of dental anatomy, materials science, and clinical collaboration — skills I continue to refine through ongoing professional development.

During my NYSC year in Bauchi State, I served as President of the Gender Vanguard CDS Group, coordinating community outreach programs focused on dental hygiene, public health awareness, and gender inclusion. These initiatives reached over 500 beneficiaries, improving both health literacy and access to care.

As a Medical Virtual Assistant, I help healthcare professionals streamline their operations through patient communication, teleconsult scheduling, and digital record management using tools like Google Workspace, Trello, Calendly, and Zoom. My ability to combine clinical knowledge with digital proficiency allows me to support healthcare delivery both in-person and remotely.
