I’m Obed Joshua, a Registered Dental Technologist and Certified Medical Virtual Assistant with a passion for improving patient care through precision, empathy, and innovation. I bring hands-on experience in prosthetic fabrication, crowns and bridge construction, and dental laboratory management, complemented by strong digital and organizational skills that support modern healthcare operations.

I hold a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Dental Technology from Shehu Idris College of Health Sciences and Technology, Makarfi, where I graduated with Upper Credit and was inducted by the Dental Technologists Registration Board of Nigeria (DTRBN) in 2023. My academic training gave me a deep understanding of dental anatomy, materials science, and clinical collaboration skills I continue to refine through ongoing professional development.

During my National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) year in Bauchi State, I served as President of the Gender Vanguard CDS Group, where I coordinated public health awareness campaigns, organized dental and hygiene outreaches, and led community projects that reached over 500 beneficiaries. This experience strengthened my leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities, helping me excel in patient relations and interdisciplinary collaboration.

As a Medical Virtual Assistant, I provide administrative and telehealth support to healthcare professionals by managing patient communications, scheduling, digital documentation, and workflow coordination using tools like Google Workspace, Trello, and Zoom. My dual background in dental technology and virtual healthcare enables me to bridge the gap between clinical expertise and digital efficiency.
